The NFC North rivals split their 2025 regular-season meetings before the Bears eliminated the Packers in the Wild Card round, setting up another evenly matched pair of 2026 contests at Lambeau in Week 5 and Soldier Field in Week 16. Trader consensus heavily favors a split series at 49.5% because both clubs enter with overlapping strengths—Chicago’s improved offense under second-year coach Ben Johnson and QB Caleb Williams, Green Bay’s established core around Jordan Love—and comparable vulnerabilities, including defensive turnover and early-season injury concerns for key contributors such as Micah Parsons. The Packers hold a modest edge at 30% over the Bears’ 10% due to home-field advantage in the first matchup and slightly more stable recent roster continuity, though both sides face tough overall schedules that limit clear separation. Preseason results and training-camp reports have shown no decisive momentum shift between the two.
