The Los Angeles Chargers enter the 2026 season with stronger roster depth, an experienced Justin Herbert under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, and a healthier offensive line featuring tackles Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, positioning them as the consensus favorite to claim the season series against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders, coming off a 3-14 campaign, rely on new head coach Klint Kubiak, veteran Kirk Cousins at quarterback alongside rookie Fernando Mendoza, and running back Ashton Jeanty amid ongoing rebuild efforts and questions around offensive line stability. They split the two divisional matchups—Chargers hosting in Week 2 and visiting in Week 14—with the home game in Las Vegas offering the Raiders their clearest path to a split. Trader pricing reflects the Chargers’ talent edge tempered by typical early-season variance and the realistic chance of a 1-1 outcome.
