This market will resolve to the running back that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring RB under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 1, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring RB in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 1 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).**The 2026 NFL Week 1 PPR running back points leader market remains exceptionally tight because regular-season action has not yet begun, leaving outcomes dependent on final depth charts, projected workloads, and matchup-specific factors rather than established stats.** Consensus projections from sources like FantasyPros and ESPN rank Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, and De'Von Achane at the top due to their expected high-volume roles and receiving usage in favorable schemes, yet several others—including Chase Brown, Saquon Barkley, Omarion Hampton, James Cook, and Derrick Henry—carry comparable implied probabilities from similar touches and pass-catching opportunities. Depth chart stability post-preseason, minor injury recoveries, and offensive line or quarterback situations create parity, with no dominant favorite emerging in trader consensus. This reflects the inherent variability of a single week where small shifts in targets, goal-line work, or efficiency can swing results across a broad field of viable options.
