The 2026 NFL interceptions thrown leader market sits tightly bunched because a large group of quarterbacks enter with overlapping projections for pass attempts and turnover risk. Rookies and second-year starters including Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, and Fernando Mendoza face elevated uncertainty in new or rebuilding offenses, while veterans such as Geno Smith, Brock Purdy, Trevor Lawrence, and Baker Mayfield carry recent histories of double-digit picks amid scheme shifts or line questions. Stronger ball-security options like Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Lamar Jackson trade at modest discounts, reflecting trader consensus on their lower expected totals. With the season just beginning, early-week results, injury reports, and usage patterns will drive separation in this wide-open field.
