**The strong "Under" consensus at 92% stems primarily from the Special Illustration Rare Mega Dragonite ex (#290/217) from the Ascended Heroes set trading in the $660–680 range as of late August 2026, well below the $705.60 threshold with just days remaining.** Recent eBay sales and market listings cluster between $610 and $718, reflecting steady supply from the fresh set release and limited upward momentum. Broader Pokémon TCG secondary market softness, driven by high pull rates for chase cards and cooling post-release hype, reinforces trader expectations that the raw card price will stay anchored near current levels through month-end. While a sudden viral surge or grading spike could theoretically push values higher, the short timeline and current trajectory make a meaningful rally improbable.
