**Current trader consensus heavily favors the "Under" outcome at 94.5% implied probability because the Mega Gengar ex Special Illustration Rare (#284) from Ascended Heroes has been in steady decline on the secondary market.** Raw near-mint copies now trade between roughly $975 and $1,055, down 8–23% over the past 30 days after earlier post-release highs above $1,400. With only days remaining until the August 31 snapshot and no major catalysts such as new competitive meta shifts, grading surges, or viral collector demand on the immediate horizon, the downward trajectory looks likely to hold. A realistic upside scenario would require an abrupt spike in buying interest or positive news that reverses the recent softening, though historical patterns for similar chase cards suggest such reversals are uncommon this close to resolution.
