**South Park’s Season 29 premiere, airing September 16 at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central, is driven by the show’s satirical rebrand to “South America,” announced by creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone shortly after their sixth Emmy win.** The move mocks corporate compliance with Trump administration geographic name changes and Paramount’s ownership shifts, setting up the episode “South American Biker Gangs.” In it, e-bikes disrupt the renamed town as Cartman, Kenny, Stan, and Kyle take over the streets, leaving parents bewildered. Recent teaser images and a short trailer highlight the visual chaos and name-change gags, positioning the episode as a direct continuation of the series’ Trump-era commentary. Traders are watching for how the premiere incorporates the rebrand into dialogue and whether it delivers the expected topical punchlines ahead of the next-day Paramount+ drop.
