Nene Royal’s recent Live Golden Buzzer from Mel B during her powerful Soundgarden “Black Hole Sun” quarterfinal performance on August 25 has propelled her to frontrunner status at 54% implied probability, building on the massive virality of her July “Zombie” audition that became Season 21’s most-viewed clip with hundreds of millions of views. Judges including Howie Mandel and Sofía Vergara publicly highlighted her rock energy, guitar skills, and star potential, creating clear momentum ahead of the remaining quarterfinals and semifinals. The broad field of 44-plus acts, including Hundred Fingers, Geno Ploeger, and ACRO Crew, keeps most other implied odds clustered near 50% or lower amid limited live data and ongoing public voting, underscoring how a single standout performance can shift trader consensus in this unpredictable format before the September 23 finale.
