Goldman Sachs holds a 62% implied probability of serving as lead-left underwriter for Anthropic’s IPO, ahead of Morgan Stanley at 35.5%, reflecting June 2026 Bloomberg reports positioning both banks as joint leads on the potential $60 billion-plus offering following the company’s confidential S-1 filing. Goldman’s edge aligns with its historical role in large technology listings and institutional allocation capacity, while Morgan Stanley’s involvement stems from comparable tech expertise and shared work on related AI deals. JPMorgan’s minimal 2.7% odds reflect its syndicate participation without lead billing. August reports of Citigroup joining the top tier have not materially shifted probabilities, as banks compete via expanded lending commitments exceeding $10 billion to secure positioning ahead of an expected Q4 2026 Nasdaq debut.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
