**PAN leads trader expectations for second place in Mexico’s June 2027 Chamber of Deputies election.** Consistent 2026 polling shows Morena holding a commanding first-place lead (typically 38–49 %), while PAN registers the strongest opposition support (9–18 %), ahead of PRI, MC, PVEM, and PT. This positioning stems from PAN’s October 2025 decision to contest the election independently after ending its prior alliance with PRI, combined with its established territorial presence in key states and higher name recognition among opposition voters. PRI trails in most surveys despite occasional regional strength, and Morena’s coalition partners PVEM and PT remain focused on the governing bloc rather than independent second-place contention. Recent state-level alliance discussions and candidate selection have not altered the national polling hierarchy, reinforcing PAN’s consensus edge for the second-highest seat total.
