Pikachu ex chase cards from the Ascended Heroes set, especially the Special Illustration Rare variants often nicknamed "Treekachu," have continued their summer-long correction amid broader Pokémon TCG market dynamics. After peaking near $1,300–$1,400 earlier in 2026, raw near-mint copies fell to post-peak lows around $1,070 by mid-August as fresh product releases and reprints flooded supply, diverting collector attention to newer sets. With the August 31 resolution date just days away and no major catalyst like a major tournament appearance or sudden demand spike on the horizon, trader consensus heavily favors the under at 84.5% implied probability, reflecting steady downward momentum and typical seasonal softening in modern singles pricing.
