Recent polls for Berlin’s September 20 state election show AfD support fluctuating between 17% and 19%, placing it in a tight contest with the CDU and Left party for second or first place behind recent Left leads around 22%. This positioning reflects national AfD gains on immigration and economic issues offset by Berlin’s urban voter base and competition from established parties. Seat projections based on these shares typically place AfD near 26–30 mandates in the 147-seat Abgeordnetenhaus, with outcomes sensitive to final turnout, minor-party thresholds, and any late shifts among undecided voters. The narrow spread among leading outcomes in trader pricing mirrors the polling volatility and limited remaining campaign window.
