Recent polls ahead of the September 6, 2026 Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag election show Die Linke holding steady third place behind the AfD (around 42%) and CDU (around 22%), with support near 11-13%. This positioning has remained consistent across Infratest dimap, INSA, and pollytix surveys through August, outpacing the SPD, Greens, BSW, and FDP, several of which hover near or below the five-percent threshold for entry. Trader consensus for Die Linke finishing third reflects these polling trends and the limited time remaining for shifts. Outcomes could still change if late swings boost smaller parties above Die Linke or if turnout patterns alter relative shares among established competitors.
