General elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina are scheduled to be held on October 4, 2026, including the election of the President and two Vice-Presidents of the political entity of Republika Srpska. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate elected to serve as President of Republika Srpska as a result of this election. A candidate elected as a Vice-President of Republika Srpska will not count. Interim, temporary, or acting Presidents of Republika Srpska will not count. If no such President has been elected by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina (izbori.ba); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Savo Minić, the incumbent prime minister and SNSD candidate backed by Milorad Dodik and coalition partners, leads trader pricing at 60% for the October 4, 2026 Republika Srpska presidential election. His positioning stems from the party’s organizational strength, control of key institutions, and recent internal surveys indicating roughly 41% support amid a fragmented opposition. Branko Blanuša of the SDS trails at 36%, reflecting the main opposition party’s consistent but secondary base after narrow losses in the 2025–26 snap presidential contests. Numerous minor candidates, including several Bosniak and Croat contenders for vice-presidential roles, register low single-digit or fractional probabilities, underscoring limited cross-ethnic or splinter appeal in the entity’s direct presidential vote. No major late-August developments have altered these contours, with the campaign focused on coalition unity and opposition coordination efforts ahead of the general election.
