This market will resolve to “Yes” if Volodymyr Zelenskyy ceases to be President of Ukraine for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the government of Ukraine; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Ukraine's ongoing martial law, extended by parliament through at least October 31, 2026, bars presidential elections under constitutional rules, allowing incumbent Volodymyr Zelenskyy to retain office beyond his original 2019 term per Article 108 until a successor assumes power. Recent statements from Zelenskyy in late August 2026 rejected calls for a wartime vote by former defense minister Mykhailo Fedorov, describing such a ballot as a high-risk division of the country amid active conflict with Russia.
