Recent polling for the September 20 Berlin Abgeordnetenhaus election shows Die Linke leading at 19–22 percent, followed closely by the CDU and AfD in the high teens and the Greens at 16–17 percent, with the SPD further back. This positioning keeps the contest for third place tight among the AfD, Greens, and CDU, as small shifts in turnout or preference among undecided voters or minor parties could reorder the middle rankings. The CDU’s recent leadership change to Stefan Evers, AfD gains amid national trends, and Linke momentum have contributed to the current clustering. Late-campaign events, final turnout differentials, or unexpected movements in smaller lists could still alter the outcome before election day.
