Recent polls for Berlin’s September 20 Abgeordnetenhaus election show a tight four-way contest, with Die Linke, CDU, AfD, and Grüne clustered between roughly 16-22 percent and SPD trailing further back. This compression leaves multiple parties competitive for positions three through five, sustaining high uncertainty around fourth place. Recent volatility stems from the CDU’s mid-campaign leadership switch after the outgoing mayor’s resignation and fluctuating support for the AfD and Linke amid local issues such as energy reliability and housing. With three weeks remaining, small shifts in turnout among undecided voters or modest gains by any of the leading quartet could reorder the final ranking and alter which party lands fourth. Trader consensus therefore prices several outcomes near even odds.
