PL maintains its leading position in the Brazil Chamber of Deputies race due to its status as the largest current caucus, extensive state-level infrastructure, and strong candidate recruitment aligned with the broader right-wing movement ahead of the October 4 vote. The open-list proportional system favors parties with high name recognition and mobilization capacity, advantages reinforced by Flávio Bolsonaro’s competitive presidential campaign and the start of official electoral broadcasts. UPB trails as the main center-right alternative but faces greater fragmentation within the centrão bloc. High incumbent re-election rates and limited shifts among smaller parties further concentrate implied probabilities on these two outcomes, with trader consensus reflecting these structural and campaign dynamics.
