This market will resolve to "Yes" if Israel announces it has withdrawn all ground forces from Lebanon by the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For this market to resolve to "Yes" it is sufficient that Israel announces its ground forces have withdrawn from all Lebanese territory, regardless of if some Lebanese territory remains under their control or ground incursions by Israeli forces continue. However, an announcement of a planned or future withdrawal will not suffice. The Shebaa Farms area is considered Israeli territory for the purposes of this market and will not be considered toward its resolution. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the Israeli government, however an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting confirming that Israel has withdrawn may also be used.**Israel’s partial pullback from two “pilot zones” in southern Lebanon under the June 26, 2026 U.S.-brokered framework agreement remains the dominant recent development shaping trader views on any broader withdrawal timeline.** The deal links further phased redeployments of Israeli forces to verifiable Hezbollah disarmament and Lebanese Armed Forces control, rather than fixed dates, with Israeli leaders stating they will retain the security zone “as long as necessary” to neutralize threats. Hezbollah’s leadership immediately rejected the accord as null and void and crossed red lines, while sporadic strikes continued. Limited additional withdrawals were reported in July as a test of the truce, but implementation depends on measurable progress by Lebanese authorities in the south. The conditional, performance-based structure and Hezbollah’s stance continue to define the pace and scope of any full Israeli exit.
