This market will resolve to "Yes" if Israeli military personnel physically enter the municipality of Tyre in Lebanon for military purposes by the listed day 11:59 PM Israel Daylight Time. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For the purposes of this market, aerial and maritime operations will not be considered. Only operations involving troops on the ground within the municipality of Tyre will count. Undercover Israeli operatives and assets will not count. The primary resolution source for this market will be photo and video evidence; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. If the date/time of a qualifying entry cannot be confirmed by a consensus of credible reporting within 48 hours of this market's end date, it will resolve to "No" regardless of whether it was later confirmed to have taken place.Israeli forces have conducted airstrikes and issued evacuation orders across Tyre in southern Lebanon amid the ongoing conflict with Hezbollah, including major raids in June 2026 that damaged residential and historic areas, yet ground operations have remained concentrated in surrounding rural districts and strategic ridges like Ali al-Taher rather than entering the Tyre municipality itself. Recent weeks have seen continued Israeli demolitions, artillery fire, and limited advances beyond buffer zones in Tyre district towns such as Mansouri and Majdal Zoun, alongside fragile U.S.-brokered ceasefire efforts that have not halted activity. Trader consensus reflects these patterns, with ground entry into the city proper appearing constrained by urban tactical challenges, diplomatic pressures, and focus on Hezbollah infrastructure outside municipal limits. Upcoming developments could include further buffer zone expansions or renewed clashes that test these boundaries before late August deadlines.
