Recent polling averages position the Sweden Democrats ahead of the Moderate Party for second place behind the leading Social Democrats ahead of the September 13 election. In the latest Indikator Opinion survey, SD stands at 19.7% compared with 18.9% for the Moderates, while broader trackers show SD around 19.3% and the Moderates near 17.6-18%. The right-wing Tidö bloc has narrowed the opposition's overall lead in recent weeks amid campaign focus on security, immigration, crime, and cost-of-living issues, but individual party trends keep SD narrowly ahead of its coalition partner. Traders' consensus reflects this sustained positioning, with limited time remaining for a reversal before votes are cast.
