Recent polling data from multiple firms, including Indikator Opinion, Ipsos, Novus, and Demoskop through late August 2026, show Vänsterpartiet consistently ahead of Kristdemokraterna by roughly 1–2 percentage points, with V at 7.4–7.6% and KD at 5.8–6.3%. This pattern has held since earlier summer surveys and underpins the current market pricing. The broader right-wing bloc, including KD, has narrowed its deficit to the centre-left opposition ahead of the September 13 vote, yet individual party trends for these two smaller actors have remained stable amid campaign focus on economic pressures, security, and immigration. No major late-breaking developments have altered the relative positioning between V and KD in the final weeks.
