**AS leads the market at 72.7% as the frontrunner for the October 3, 2026 Saeima election, reflecting its position atop recent SKDS polling (23.6% in mid-August) and the visibility of Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs.** The United List alliance has gained steadily since Kulbergs formed a four-party coalition in May 2026 following the prior government's collapse. SV trails at 13.5% amid modest poll gains for the opposition alliance, while LPV, PRO, and NA sit further back in single digits or low teens. JV, ZZS, and smaller lists remain marginal. Traders appear to price in AS's incumbency edge, regional strength, and consistent lead over the final month, though the proportional system leaves room for coalition shifts depending on final turnout and thresholds.
