Recent polling data across multiple institutes places the SPD at 7–9% in Sachsen-Anhalt, comfortably above the 5% threshold for Landtag entry, while the BSW registers 3–4% and shows no upward trajectory in surveys from late August 2026. With the election scheduled for September 6, these figures reflect stable voter preferences in the final pre-election period, including modest SPD gains in some recent measurements. BSW internal state-level candidate selection and limited campaign momentum have not translated into measurable support shifts capable of closing the gap. Trader consensus therefore aligns with the consistent polling margin separating the two parties ahead of the vote count.
