**In the final weeks before Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election, recent opinion polls place the Centre Party (C) and Green Party (MP) in a tight contest for vote share, with averages showing both hovering between roughly 6% and 8%.** A late August Indikator Opinion survey gave MP a narrow edge at 6.5% to C’s 5.9%, while a Verian poll showed C ahead at 8.0% versus MP’s 7.7%; broader aggregates reflect similar closeness within margins of error. This balance stems from overlapping voter bases on climate and rural issues, modest recent fluctuations (C showing volatility tied to bloc positioning talks, MP holding steadier), and the parties’ comparable historical results near the 4% threshold. The overall opposition bloc’s narrowing lead against the Tidö government has kept smaller parties’ relative performance sensitive to turnout and late campaign focus on energy, security, and environmental policy. Scheduled debates and any shifts in voter priorities on climate cooperation or centre-left government alternatives could still alter the final ordering.
