United Russia maintains a commanding lead in projections for the September 18–20, 2026 State Duma elections, reflecting its status as the incumbent ruling party with extensive organizational resources, ballot access advantages, and alignment with the presidential administration across both proportional lists and single-mandate districts. Recent party congresses approved candidate slates emphasizing national programs on wages, family support, and infrastructure, while polls from FOM and WCIOM consistently place the party well ahead of systemic competitors. New People has shown modest gains in some surveys, positioning it ahead of LDPR and KPRF in certain forecasts through appeals to younger and urban voters, yet remains a distant second overall. disqualifications, including Yabloko’s removal from the federal list, have further consolidated the field among registered parties, reinforcing expectations of limited shifts in seat distribution under the 5% threshold.
