The tight clustering of Code Arena WebDev lab scores—Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5-max leading at roughly 1691, followed closely by Moonshot’s Kimi K3-max at 1674 and Alibaba’s Qwen3.8-max at 1669—drives the market’s even odds for third place by end of September. Recent mid-August releases, including Grok-4.6, Gemini 3.7 Flash, DeepSeek-V4-Pro, and Alibaba’s smaller Qwen3.8-27B, have narrowed gaps through improved agentic web-dev performance on multi-step tasks. Chinese labs benefit from rapid iteration and cost efficiency, while Western frontier models retain edges in complex reasoning. With only weeks left and ongoing votes shifting rankings quickly, traders see high uncertainty among Alibaba, Moonshot, and several others for the third slot.

Results from the "Lab Rank" column under the "Code Arena | WebDev" Leaderboard tab at https://arena.ai/leaderboard/code/webdev?rankBy=labs (Overall) filtered for "Labs" will be used to resolve this market.
AI companies will be ordered primarily by their Lab Rank at the market’s check time. If a tie still remains, alphabetical order of AI lab/company names as listed in this market group will be used as a final tiebreaker (e.g., “Google” would be ranked ahead of “SpaceXAI”). This market will resolve based on the company that occupies third place under this ranking.
