Recent polling averages place President Trump’s job approval near record lows for his second term, with figures clustering around 33–39% amid sustained public concern over the Iran conflict’s duration, elevated gasoline prices, and net-negative ratings across the economy, foreign policy, and border security. Multiple surveys released in the past week show little movement, producing a closely balanced market where traders see roughly even odds of a modest weekly uptick versus further softening. Developments that could shift sentiment include fresh polling releases, any diplomatic progress on Iran or energy prices, or scheduled economic data releases, while escalation signals or additional negative issue polling would likely reinforce downward pressure.
