This market will resolve according to the winner of the Republican Primary for Governor of New Hampshire, scheduled to take place on September 8, 2026. Resolution will be based on the overall winner of the primary, including any potential second round or run-off. If no 2026 New Hampshire Gubernatorial Republican Primary takes place, this market will resolve to “Other.” The resolution source for this market will be the first official announcement of the results from the New Hampshire Republican Party; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.Kelly Ayotte’s position as incumbent governor, following her 2024 victory and inauguration in January 2025, underpins the overwhelming trader consensus in the Republican primary. She maintains strong support among party voters, with recent UNH polling showing 86 percent Republican approval of her job performance and consistent leads in the broader race. Minor challengers Shaun Fife and Bob Wayne McClory filed by the June deadline but lack fundraising, endorsements, or polling visibility ahead of the September 8 primary. Historical patterns of New Hampshire incumbent governors prevailing in their primaries further reinforce current pricing. Late developments such as a major scandal, health event, or surprise endorsement surge by a high-profile alternative could still shift outcomes before ballots are cast.
