Sweden's September 13 parliamentary election features a tight contest between the incumbent right-wing Tidö bloc (Moderates, Christian Democrats, Liberals, supported by Sweden Democrats) and the centre-left opposition led by Social Democrats. Recent Novus polling shows the blocs nearly even at 47.9% and 50.3%, with the gap narrowing sharply from earlier double-digit opposition leads. The Liberals' rise above the 4% threshold is critical for preserving the right bloc's seat majority and coalition viability. Campaign focus has centered on healthcare, immigration, crime, energy policy, and the economy, alongside security concerns following the August school attack. The Centre Party's positioning adds further uncertainty to post-election government formation and seat outcomes for smaller parties.

Each market will resolve to "Yes" if the specified party receives at least one seat in the Swedish Riksdag as a result of the 2026 Swedish parliamentary elections. Otherwise that market will resolve to "No".
Seats will be counted only where they are attributed to the specified party. Seats attributed to another party or electoral designation will not count, regardless of electoral cooperation, endorsements, coalition agreements, or subsequent parliamentary-group arrangements. If the specified party formally merges into a successor party before the election and does not contest separately, seats officially attributed to that successor party will count.
If the results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, each market will resolve to "No".
Each market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the specified party in this election.
This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Swedish government, specifically the Swedish Election Authority (Valmyndigheten) (https://www.val.se/).
