Recent polls place Shas near seven Knesset seats, reflecting pressure from the ultra-Orthodox draft controversy that has prompted some traditional voters to shift toward Likud, Otzma Yehudit, or opposition lists. Shas has responded with a campaign video highlighting an IDF soldier returning to a Haredi family and a leadership reconciliation between Aryeh Deri and Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef aimed at unifying its base ahead of candidate list submissions on September 9. Traders see limited upside unless the party regains Mizrahi support or benefits from bloc realignments, while downside risks stem from further Haredi vote fragmentation and the short timeline to the October 27 election. The even distribution across low and high ranges captures this volatility in a contest where small swings in turnout or alliances can alter final totals.
