United Russia maintains a commanding lead in the Altai Krai Legislative Assembly election market due to its position as the incumbent ruling party, extensive candidate registration across all 34 single-mandate districts, and alignment with federal structures ahead of the September 18–20 vote. The mixed electoral system—half proportional representation with a 5% threshold and half first-past-the-post—favors established parties with strong local organization, as evidenced by United Russia's consistent performance in prior cycles. Other parties, including CPRF, LDPR, and New People, trail significantly in trader consensus. Rare shifts could occur from unusually low turnout, localized administrative issues, or late developments in the parallel federal campaign, though these remain low-probability factors given current positioning.
