The Moderate Party holds a clear lead in trader consensus for third place in Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election, followed by the Sweden Democrats, with all other parties priced near zero. Recent Indikator Opinion, Demoskop, and Novus surveys show the Social Democrats maintaining a substantial lead near 30–31 percent, while the Moderates have narrowed the gap to the Sweden Democrats to roughly one point or less in several August polls amid a broader tightening between the Tidö-aligned bloc and the centre-left opposition. Campaign focus on cost-of-living pressures, crime, and energy has coincided with modest gains for the Moderates and continued weakness for the Liberals below the four-percent threshold. With the election only weeks away, remaining volatility in individual-party shares between the second- and third-placed contenders continues to shape positioning in the market.
