Recent National Weather Service observations and model guidance indicate Denver's September 6 high will likely peak in the upper 80s to low 90s amid partly cloudy skies and a modest chance of afternoon thunderstorms. These conditions follow several consecutive days above 90°F, including a 94°F reading on September 5, but a shift in steering flow and increased moisture have introduced cooling cloud cover and precipitation potential that caps extreme warmth. Official forecasts range from 85–91°F depending on storm timing and coverage, aligning with trader emphasis on the 90–91°F bin as the most probable outcome while assigning meaningful probability to the adjacent 88–89°F and 92–93°F ranges. Updated NWS and NOAA model runs through the afternoon will refine the final observed maximum.
