This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Vnukovo International Airport in degrees Celsius on 27 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=UUWW If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Official forecasts from Russia's Hydrometeorological Center indicate partly cloudy skies with a northerly wind of 3–8 m/s and daytime highs of 19–21°C in Moscow on August 27, consistent with the 20.6°C climatological average. Recent model runs and surface observations, however, point to greater cloud cover and slightly cooler advection, supporting the market's emphasis on 17–18°C outcomes. Ensemble guidance shows limited diurnal warming potential under stable high pressure near 753–755 mmHg, with overnight lows around 10–12°C setting a modest baseline. Traders appear to weigh the risk of under-forecasted cooling against historical variability, where actual peaks have ranged widely on this date. Updated NWP runs and real-time station data through midday will likely refine these implied probabilities before resolution.
