**Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and local meteorological sources indicate an overnight low in the lower 70s for Atlanta on September 6, 2026, with most guidance centering near 72°F.** Persistent warm, humid air under light easterly winds and partial cloud cover has limited radiative cooling overnight, keeping temperatures elevated compared to the long-term average low of about 68°F for the date. Recent model runs show strong consensus on this range, with minimal spread that supports the market's heavy weighting toward the 72-73°F bin. A slight chance of evening showers adds minor uncertainty but is unlikely to alter the minimum substantially. Traders appear to be pricing in this stable late-summer pattern, as no significant cold advection or clear-sky radiative cooling event is expected before dawn.
