Persistent high pressure and clear skies over North Texas have driven strong daytime heating on September 6, with National Weather Service observations recording a maximum of 100°F at Dallas/Fort Worth under mostly sunny conditions and light southeast winds. Model consensus and recent climatological trends—above the 92.5°F September 6 average—support trader emphasis on the 98-99°F range, though the 100-101°F outcome remains viable given ongoing heat advection and heat indices near 105°F. Low precipitation chances and stable atmospheric conditions have limited variability, aligning market-implied odds with official guidance that temperatures would peak in the upper 90s to low 100s without significant model divergence.
