Recent forecasts from NWS and private models indicate the overnight low in Central Park on September 8 will likely fall in the mid-60s °F, driven by building high pressure, light northwest winds, and partly cloudy skies that permit moderate radiational cooling after daytime highs near 80 °F. Recent climatology shows average September 8 lows of 64 °F, with current model consensus tightly clustered around 64–67 °F and minimal disagreement among runs. Trader emphasis on the 64–65 °F and 66–67 °F bins reflects this narrow uncertainty range ahead of final NWS forecast updates and any last-minute changes in cloud cover or wind.
