Recent forecasts from NOAA-affiliated sources indicate a minimum temperature for New York City on September 7 centered in the low-to-mid 60s°F, driven by clear skies overnight that enhance radiative cooling and a northwest wind flow advecting slightly cooler continental air. This setup produces market-implied odds clustered tightly between the 62–63°F and 64–65°F bins because small variations in cloud cover, wind speed, or boundary-layer mixing can shift the exact low by 1–2°F. Historical September averages near 64°F provide context, while model consensus shows limited spread given the stable high-pressure regime. Updated National Weather Service guidance expected overnight will refine the final reading before market resolution.
