Sweden's September 13 parliamentary election polls show the Social Democrats holding a clear lead near 31 percent, followed closely by the Sweden Democrats around 19 percent and the Moderates near 18 percent, with all other parties trailing well behind in single digits. This positioning underpins the Moderate Party's dominant market share for third place, as recent surveys from Indikator Opinion, Demoskop, and others indicate only modest movement between the Sweden Democrats and Moderates amid a narrowing overall bloc gap. Campaign focus on cost of living, crime, immigration, and energy has produced limited shifts in individual party support over the past month, leaving the Moderates as the consistent contender immediately behind the Sweden Democrats while smaller parties remain far from contention for third. The election timeline leaves little room for major late reversals before vote counting begins.
