Recent official forecasts from Mexico’s Servicio Meteorológico Nacional project a daily maximum of 24–26°C for Mexico City on September 6 under partly to mostly cloudy skies with widespread showers and possible hail, which limits surface heating. Multiple numerical models converge on afternoon highs near 20–24°C amid persistent cloud cover and easterly winds, consistent with September climatology where typical maxima range 23–25°C. This data underpins the overwhelming 91.5% market-implied probability for exactly 24°C. A stronger-than-expected clearing trend or delayed rainfall could push readings to 26°C or higher, though current observations and model runs make such outcomes unlikely before resolution.
