**Current National Weather Service and model consensus points to a high temperature in the mid-to-upper 70s°F for San Francisco on September 7, driven by persistent onshore flow and marine-layer moderation from the Pacific that limits daytime heating despite a broader regional warming trend.** Official point forecasts list highs near 75–78°F under mostly sunny skies, with light northwest winds and minimal cloud cover expected to allow modest warming above the long-term September 7 average of roughly 70°F. Recent observations show the city running slightly above normal early in the month but without the strong offshore flow or subsidence needed for 80°F-plus readings. Traders have priced the 76–81°F bins highest because ensemble guidance shows little spread around this range, though minor shifts in wind direction or marine-layer depth could still adjust the final maximum by a degree or two before resolution.
