Current National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight lows in the mid-70s for Austin on September 7, aligning with the market’s tight clustering around 74–77 °F outcomes. Light southerly flow and dew points near 70–74 °F will limit radiative cooling under partly cloudy skies, while the absence of a strong frontal passage or drier air mass keeps temperatures above seasonal normals. Ensemble spreads remain modest because steering patterns and moisture profiles show high consistency through the overnight period, though minor revisions in cloud cover or wind speed could shift the exact minimum by a degree or two before the 7 a.m. observation window closes.
