**Trader consensus centers on 90-91°F as the most likely high for Los Angeles on September 9 amid an incoming heat wave.** Remnants of Hurricane Marie brought weekend rain and moisture that is now yielding to building high pressure and offshore flow, driving rapid warming. National Weather Service and private models show Wednesday highs ranging from the upper 80s at coastal stations like LAX to the mid-90s or higher inland, with heat indices potentially exceeding 100°F. Historical September averages near 76°F underscore the anomaly, while model spread and microclimate differences between beach and valley locations explain the tight clustering around 88-93°F outcomes. Fresh model runs and NWS updates through Tuesday will likely refine the exact peak before market resolution.
