Lula maintains a commanding lead in Rio Grande do Norte first-round voting intentions according to recent Quaest polling, reflecting the president's consistent strength across the Northeast. Incumbency advantages, 60% government approval in the state, and historical regional voting patterns underpin this position, with Lula drawing over 50% support while the nearest rival trails by more than 30 points. Local campaign events, including the president's recent visit to open presidential activities in Natal, have reinforced PT messaging ahead of the October 4 vote. Other listed candidates register minimal or zero support in surveys. Shifts remain possible through late undecided voter movement, turnout variations, or unforeseen developments before election day, though current data indicate limited near-term volatility.
