Recent August polls for Sergipe’s two Senate seats show a fragmented field with high undecided and blank/null shares often exceeding 20-50%, keeping second-place prospects fluid among Rogerio Carvalho, André Moura, Delegado Alessandro, Eduardo Amorim, and Delegado André David. Incumbent re-election bids by Carvalho (PT) and Alessandro (MDB), alongside formal candidacies launched in early August and shifting coalitions such as the PT-União alliance, have produced volatile first- and second-choice results across institutes like CTAS, INOR, and Real Time Big Data. Traders price the leading names in a narrow band near 27-28% for second place, reflecting the absence of a clear frontrunner behind the top vote-getter and the scope for late swings driven by turnout, regional mobilization, or campaign events before the October 4 vote.
