Lula maintains a commanding lead in Sergipe for first place in the October 4 first round, reflecting consistent polling advantages of roughly 35-40 points over Flávio Bolsonaro and single-digit support for other contenders. Recent state-level surveys show Lula near 60 percent, supported by 64 percent approval for his administration and traditional PT strength across the Northeast. Traders price this outcome at 95.5 percent, consistent with the state's voter base and the absence of competitive local alternatives. A realistic shift would require major late-campaign developments such as a significant national scandal, health-related withdrawal, or unexpected turnout surge favoring right-leaning candidates, though current evidence points to limited volatility in the remaining weeks.
